Hello, I am Tim Burns, a retired police officer who moved to New Hampshire to spend more time in the great outdoors. I started Floating Feathers Guide Service after spending years working at an outdoor store behind the fly fishing counter and hearing, “I would love to learn to fly fish, but I don’t know where to start” or “That looks too complicated”. The idea that I could be the person to get them started came to mind.

Floating Feathers Guide Service is based in Intervale, New Hampshire. Operating in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. My classroom is the many streams and rivers in Mount Washington Valley. I am fully insured and a licensed NH fly fishing guide who is registered as a Special Use Permittee for the White Mountain National Forest. This allows me to guide in New Hampshire’s best wild trout waters.
I am currently a member of the Saco Valley Trout Unlimited chapter as well as a Member of the New Hampshire Guides Association.
